PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

My system has gotten:

  • Sluggish
  • Full then emptied out
  • Been in excessive use recording, swapping and deleting files, for a long period of time

What can I do to regain space and performance after deleting files I do not need.

SOLUTION AND WORKAROUND

Over the course of lengthy use, the section of TriCaster’s internal storage devoted to audio and video storage can become fragmented. Eventually, this can degrade playback performance. Defragmenting corrects this condition.

This process can be run from the UTILITIES menu found on the Home Page ring. See the TriCaster 40 User Guide page 57 section 7.1 for more details.
